About 2R

Founded in 2024 by two former police officers, we realized an underserved need exists within the First Responder community.

An estimated 30 percent of combat veterans and first responders are suffering in silence with a range of mental health challenges including PTSD and depression.

After attending a life-changing program centered around post traumatic growth, we learned about wellness and how to integrate it into our daily lives. Now we teach mental, physical, financial, and spiritual wellness to first responder, veterans, and their spouses.

As former LEOs, we know first-hand about the struggles experienced by our nation’s protectors. Often time, the price they pay for standing in the gap for our country is their own health, financial stability, and family life.

Second Responder was created to teach post traumatic growth and reconnect first responder, veterans, and their spouses to nature. We desire people and organizations from all walks of life to become involved- largely financially- to allow your investment be put 100% toward those in need, and to allow us to manage and direct that help, based on the unique needs our first responders face in their personal lives- long after the uniform is off at the end of the day.

Our home base is just outside of Fort Payne, AL at Leatherneck Creek, our healing homestead.

Your turn to be the HERO.

Our goal, simply put, is to bring hope to those who are struggling. First responders often face a ’culture’ of a lack of support or resources to get help. Stress, PTSD, and general struggles lead to anxiety, depression, substance abuse, divorce, and regrettably, even suicide. Our goal is to stand in the gap and teach them how to thrive in the face of trauma.
